delusion , illusion , hallucination , mirage mean

something that is believed to be true or real but

that is actually false or unreal. delusion implies an

inability to distinguish between what is real and

what only seems to be real, often as the result of

a disordered state of mind < delusions of

persecution>. illusion implies a false ascribing of

reality based on what one sees or imagines <an

illusion of safety>. hallucination implies

impressions that are the product of disordered

mirage in

என்பனவற்றில் DELUSION என்ற சொல

எண்ணம் எனற பொருளில் வைத்துப்

பொருள் கொள்ள வேண்டும்.

அவைகள் முறையே, தான் ஏதோ

ஒன்றில் குறைவுற்று இருப்பதாக,

தான் நோய்வய்ப்பட்டு இருப்பதாக,

தவறாக அவதிப் படுவதாக, தான்

நல்ல நிலையில் இருப்பதாக,

தன்னால் இயங்க முடியாத

நிலையில் இருப்பதாக், தான்

மெலிந்து வருவதாக, தான்

மெலிந்து இருப்பதாக.......போன்ற

எண்ணங்காளால் துயரர்

சூழ்ந்தைருப்பதாக நாம் உணரலாம்.

எனவே Delusion எனபதை மாயை,

மனப்பிரமை போன்று பொருள்

கொள்ளக் கூடாது. பொதுவாக

DELUSION என்பது துயரர் தன்

வாயினால் சொல்லுவதாகவே

இருக்கும்.
